SEO Tip: What You Need To Know About Link Building

As SEO specialists, we know that link building is an essential part of increasing site traffic and getting a strong and high rank on search engines. It takes a lot of relating and sharing with other authors, and building good relationships with them to be able to establish link building.

Some links are not created equal depending on its value to different authors. There are certain thinks about link building that you need to know and you need to keep in mind all the time to build stronger links with other web pages.

What do you need to know about link building? Here are some things you need to keep in mind.

The more links you build and share out there the stronger you get. You have to get and share as many links as possible.

It’s not enough to be satisfied with building it with one or two other related web sites, that’s not going to be enough to get the word out. Share it to other web pages but only to those that are related to your field and also have good or high value.

Choose only links that are related to your field. If you own a website about clothes for women, it’s no use linking your website with mining equipment as a feature; there won’t be continuity in links and content. Your link will not be of any use on sites that do not in any way relate to your content.

Build links with web pages that have high value and authority on the internet. You can establish your links on trusted sites like professional groups, news sites, white papers, case studies, etc.

Choose to link to those who already have a good following and a great place for internet traffic. There is still no use linking to a website that rarely gets visited.

Link pages that you want to rank on search engines. Search engines do not rank the domain itself, but web pages.

It will help your reader go to your content right away instead of waiting for them to navigate all throughout your web site.

Use your keywords as links rather than a mere click style link. Your text matters to the people because it will give them a preview of what to look forward to when they click the link.

When links point to the same URL more than once, the first link on HTML code will count.

The text around your link also matters a lot and its location on the page. Text links on the first paragraph are more likely to get clicked than links on the last few paragraphs or your pages’ footer in tiny letters.
